  1. Not a dumb question- tons of info coming your way and lots to digest. The ATI fee is for books and testing fees. You will take online ATI tests every semester in the campus lab. You use those books to study and then your online ATI account (from the TEAS) will have practice tests when the time comes.Hang on to your login info-you will need it.
  2. Thanks sleepingbeauty. I think the module had an error in it. I found a really helpful registration supervisor who took care of it for me so I am now registered for the second session Dosage. I don't want to take the June class I because I am enrolled in Nutrition and it is taking up all my time! It is a really cool class but now wish I had a break. A cookout sounds great...so nice to offer to coordinate. Also, there is the Facebook page that was started for the E/W class of 2013. I would put the link in but I am at work and cannot get to it here! Guess they don't trust us! See you on Thursday!
  3. Mine is Thursday...looking forward to being in the know for once! Question about dosage. I am having trouble registering for the web based dosage course CRN 60626 -keep getting error message about course status being "out of range for term". That's the only one I can do because of the evening test times. Anyone else get this and solve the problem? Thanks! I emailed records and registration and am waiting for a response.
  4. to ab1967 or anyone who got their letter today...i am out of town so won't even see my mail for a few days.... does anyone know when orientation is for essex-evening/weekend??
  5. Thanks! Very helpful
  6. WOW- they actually called you back? I called two people there to find out when orientation is and cannot get a response I even said they did not have to talk about my status..just when it would be IF a person were to get in. I have a trip scheduled in June and cannot make the final payment until I know. very frustrating. if I didn't return phone calls at work I would be fired.
  7. Got a MICRO final tonite..how am I supposed to concentrate now! So close...
  8. Go to your SIMON account. Click Student Accounts.
  9. Seat Fees are posted! Guess that makes it more official.
  10. Does anyone happen to know when orientation is? (weeknight? Weekend?)I am trying to make some plans and get my schedule down. I may just have to wait for the letter.
  11. I have not had anything posted to my account yet. As to Corrines' statement about the TEAS exam, I did buy the online TEAS exams and found them very useful and eye opening. I highly recommend them. I think they really helped my placement. I actually did better on the real exam than on the online practice exams but they definitely helped. For the topics where I was weak I went to Khanacademy.org and refreshed in the weak areas. Anyhow, just my two cents.
  12. For what it is worth......I called today. A message says the letters will go out 5/18 and we should call the office next week if we have questions.
  13. Quite frankly, i still want to have the official letter in hand before I do anything. I am a bit paranoid, eh?
  14. aaverel1 - you are having a baby next month...and then heading to Nursing School? OMG- I promise I will never complain about being too busy! (ok, maybe just a little) wow. Good luck and see u at orientation! also, I have not tried to register yet.
  15. I will definitely check out the facebook page. I never have used it... I always just thought people should pick up the phone and call. BUT- that is a great idea for the nursing program. Thanks so much for being pro-active!
