CCBC, Fall 2011 Applicants =)

Hello Everyone,

Here we go again! This is my second time applying to CCBC's nursing program. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we wait for the GOOD news! I believe things happen for a reason! I have good faith that Fall 2011 is going to be my turn for acceptance. I guess we will see if I am right.

For anyone who was not accepted this Spring, we can be a great support system for each other :).

We haven't scheduled a time or place yet. You can email me at [email protected] and we can do a three way call soon and set up something. I need to start now even though I don't plan on re-taking until July maybe August. I am waiting to see the schedule for our school.

I just checked ATI's website, there are no test dates setup for CCBC yet. :(

I think it's better to start reviewing now as opposed to waiting until closer to when dates are posted, or when you register for it. I've purchased both online assessments to begin preparing and be re-acquainted with test questions. I'm good for whenever you two want to make a date to study together whether it's for TEAS or classes in general. I'm sure the three of us, or more if others are interested, will be able to provide a lot of information and wisdom for both TEAS and classes we're taking. I'll definitely need help and someone to keep me sane with taking Anatomy and Statistics. I plan on going to the Dundalk campus library on my nights off (which will be Tuesday and Thursday for fall) and possibly going early to Essex campus and going to their library on Saturday mornings before my Stats class. Whatever works for others, I'm good.

But now is definitely the best time to start planning and looking at the next chance we can take the TEAS and re-apply. :-)

Shanelle and Kelly: If you want, we can start a CC on e-mail - such as if Kelly e-mails, she could just CC Shanelle and I, that way we all stay up to date and can respond to all three of us. Just a thought. :-)

It is my understanding that CCBC is no longer giving the TEAS, you have to register and take at ATI and that the pricing also went up. Just an FYI...I don't know this to be 100% but that was what I heard...

Hey, I thought I would post...Anyone retaking TEAS V, if you go to the ATI website and click on your results. You can see a study plan to retake the test. The study plan gives you the option to print out the TEAS V study manual. It is exactly what is in the TEAS V study manual page per page. :) :) Good Luck! :) :)

I have noticed the quiet lately too. I'm ready...got everything done just waiting for the bookstore to have the Fundamentals bundle (anyone know what is in the bundle) and the E/W clinical notes. Had my titres and health screening done so I'm am sooo good to go! Very exciting!!

Just a heads up for people that didnt get accepted , it might be a blessing cause alot of places are not hiring A.A nurses anymore. If you was ou take the extra classes and go get a B.S.N. Plus most of those school dont make you jump through hoops like CCBC.
