CCBC, Fall 2011 Applicants =)

Hello Everyone,

Here we go again! This is my second time applying to CCBC's nursing program. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we wait for the GOOD news! I believe things happen for a reason! I have good faith that Fall 2011 is going to be my turn for acceptance. I guess we will see if I am right.

For anyone who was not accepted this Spring, we can be a great support system for each other :).

...I am starting to read the Dosage text/work book and getting ready. I intend to take the test ONCE!

I completed Chapter 1 last night... it sure did bring me back to elementary/middle school. The good news is that the more I did, the easier it was to do the math by hand (since we can't use a calculator!). I'm only planning on taking the test once as well!

They will provide you a calculator when you take a test. Also they will give you a practice test and online modules. My friends passed the test without using textbook. (online modules are very helpful) Good Luck!!

I don’t know about the RN, but it is mandatory to go to both orientations for the LPN. I am sure the RN is the same. I thought I read somewhere on this thread that it is mandatory for the RN.

Hello everyone! I got accepted into the day program at Essex. I was unable to attend the orientation on the 15th but will be going to the make-up one on the 29th. I have a question for the fellow day students who went to orientation. I am trying to figure my schedule for work and was wondering how many days we are in class. Basically I am wondering if there are two days of lecture and clinical or just one. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.:)
