Anyone get in that was wait listed for E/W, there were at least 8 no-shows to orientation last night. ????

i agree, there are many factors that will help to open a few spots this fall. the letter really doesn't say your in. it says you have been accepted on this long list of conditions. finishing any pre-recs with appropriate grades, pay the seat fee on time, must have health insurance, must pass a back ground check. must have all immunizations required, must attend two mandatory orientation meetings, must be clear of any infectious disease, tb and ppd. you must have a physical exam completed, and must be able to pass a drug screen. there is a long letter describing the change in tuition for out of county residents. evidently this is a big concern for the college, students were expecting to get in county rates will no longer get that benefit. i think there will definitely be some wait list spots open this year. not to mention the students who have accepted spots in other programs because of the long wait from ccbc this year. i know of two who are taking spots at hartford. i know this procedure sucks but some are going to get in off of the wait list for sure. it would suck if you took a summer biology and got the call from the wait list. 400+ bucks down the drain! i feel like i want to hand out a few :hug: dr. randy pausch phd once said "brick walls are there for a reason. they let us prove how badly we want things."

punkyb??? And you got rejected??? now I'm more confused then ever! So what did you do that was different for this time around?

there are two mandatory orientation sessions for the e/w program. june 9th and june 14th, both are from 6 to 9 pm. during these sessions you will be registered for your fall courses. your seat fee must be paid by 11:59 on june 1st or your seat is given away.

Got the acceptance letter today in the mail for the ESSEX E/W program.

No letter from CCBC in the mail today. 5-19-11 Why on earth would you change the status on Simon and not be ready to mail letters??? Who is running that place? Must be the 3 blind mice!!!

Got the mail already today (5-18), no letter yet. I normally get Essex mail the next day since I live in Essex. So, they haven't mailed anything yet. *** are they waiting for. Sorry for the language. lol
