Grey Lady, Do you know when RN-BSN applicants will be notified? Thank you.

When to take it?
I graduated on Dec 18 and got ATT on Dec 21. I took NCLEX on Dec 26. I saw my name on the board on Dec 27. (I did 100?s/day about a month.) And I had to travel a little farther to get the date I wanted. I think my state BON is pretty fast processing license. it depends on them how soon you will get ATT.

CCBC, Fall 2011 Applicants =)
They will provide you a calculator when you take a test. Also they will give you a practice test and online modules. My friends passed the test without using textbook. (online modules are very helpful) Good Luck!!

CCBC Rejection Question?
My classmate told me that she got rejected twice from Essex, then she applied to Catonsville and got accepted. However, she told me that she heard only good things about Catonsville campus that is the main reason she applied.( I don't mean which campus is better since I only attend one campus. ) The Nursing Director told us that they heard a rumor about which campus is easier to get in and so on, but she confirmed that both program are the same.

TEAS V- Exemplary, Advanced, Proficient or Basic?
My overall score was only 77% Proficient Level. :)

TEAS V
ATI study manual for TEAS V is very useful. I think most of the answers in science section are in the book. Just make sure you read every page. After the test I checked some questions that I think I might got them wrong and I found that all of the answers is in the ATI book which I just skipped it or didn't pay attention enough. The science questions are only test on topics which in the ATI manual V; it will tell you how many questions on each topic. I have McGraw Hill book as well, but the science questions in this book is much easier than TEAS V. I definitely recommend ATI manual V for preparing yourself for the TEAS V.

CCBC Spring 2011
I applied to catonsville. Honestly, the advisor told me that I should not apply this spring yet because I still have 2 class to take this fall. I told the advisor that it ok if I don't get in I just want to try. I heard a rumor about which campus is easier to get in so I applied to catonsville.

TEAS test...what's your experience?
HI Cari My score increase about 10%. Maybe I feel more comfortable in the second time. Also, there are some same questions as the first test, so I have enough time to finish the test. ( the first time I ran out of time in reading section). For me, it worth to retake because I can take the test twice per semester, and my school will consider the highest one. I hope It will give me better chance to get in.

CCBC Spring 2011
I think the rumor about TEAS might be true since CCBC doesn't post the minimum score for the new TEAS V but they encourage that you have to get at least proficient level to apply. I saw the static for Fall2009 only 35 applicants who met the requirement were rejected. The rest of who got rejected(about 100s) were not met the minimum requirement.
