ALLNURSES pens!!! :yeah: They write nice and dark, and they have that wonderful thick rubbery grip that eases the pain of writing for my poor arthritic hand. What's not to love about those?

I have a thing about the uni-ball vision elite. I keep cheap pens around to hand my husband & kids when they inevitably ask me for one. They're always losing them. I MUST use the uni-ball vision and always have one handy : ) There is one other model I'll use in a pinch but I don't know what it's called.

Sharpie pens, comes in blue, black and red. pros they are pencil thin, cons they have a cap top. The clicky tops are way bigger, I don't like those. I like the fine tip writing pens, makes your work look more neater, and the ink is bolder. what I absolutely like about this pen is it doesn't smear like most fine tip pens.

Oh.... I'm not picky about pens. Just wanted to share though that my husband is and that he actually has what I call the "pen apartment." A specially lined case he has stuffed with pens of all kinds. :)

Smearing is the worst, it gets all over your arm. I really hate clicky tops.I see people suggesting them for clinicals all the time but I would rather just keep up with the cap. At least those clicky cap people won't be trying to steal my precious uni-balls! :D

Specializes in Emergency/Cath Lab.

Pilot G2 0.38mm in blue. I cant use it for charting but its the only way I fit everything on my brains.

I have recently fallen in love with fountain pens not really the most practical for clinicals and what not but I LOVE them for taking notes and such!

Anything clicky!! I hate caps

Sharpie now has a skinny clicky pen too. I still like the way the others write better though. Seems like the clicky ones aren't quite the same.

OP - pens (and most school supplies) make me happy too.
