When I saw that Torrence Memorial had closed their applications to their New Grad program starting in March 2011 I realized we needed a new grad 2011 thread! The 2010 thread was a great place to ask questions and get answers about upcoming new grad opportunities. So let's make this thread the same. :)
First off, When did you graduate?

Dameron Hospital has a Versant Residency New Grad Program
But it says applications process TBA
Any old new grads out there? How long have you been looking for a job?
Man I hope we all get the jobs at Scripps. It seems like a wonderful training program and hospitals to start our careers at. At least it seems none of us are competing against one another. If I'm not mistaken, we are only being considered for the position we interviewed for right? Crossing finger and toes.
SOOOOO bUMMMED that I only found this thread now...I didn't even realize Scripps was accepting new grad apps. I've been on the site a couple times in the last few months chatting with recruiters about when the new grad program will be - everytime they've told me they didn't know and now I find I missed it...uggghhhh...frustrating!!!
I applied for the Palomar Pomerado position though..got an interview...sigh...goodluck to everyone!
I was hoping that Palomar Pomerado was going to hire a lot of nurses including new grads because they have that "hospital of the future" opening sometime this year. Anyone have any information on this?
BTW, has anyone applied to Tri-City? They never get back to anyone I know that has applied. No response. I wonder what their critieria is for getting a job there.
Nursesonchi-We are supposed to hear back by this Friday. I'll post once I know anything.
I agree with Jojonavy on "I hope we all get the jobs at Scripps." From what I have witnessed on the forum thus far, we would make a very strong support system throughout the RN residency. Good luck to us all. :)
...back to patiently awaiting...
