I was wondering what term you all use; briefs or diapers. I personally think diapers sound too demeaning. what are your thoughts on this?

I use brief or pad.
If the patient is confused I call them underwear.

"Depends" is a pretty useful euphemism. Doesn't seem to provoke a negative response.

I never say diapers b/c I agree that it's demeaning to the patient and was taught to never say it.
Depends on the patient, sometimes I call them britches. :)
