For clinicals--all whites--
Dillards stores or dillards.com have an all white, leather uppers, shoe by Reebok--Comfort Deluxe DMX KC, my box says--for $40, last time I bought a pair, last summer. Laces or 2 Velcro straps. (Also aval. in black, I believe, for an off-unit shoe.) Women's sizes I'm not familiar with; for men, whole & half sizes, in medium & wide.
There was a post about this recently, on the main Nurses page.
A little stiff the first day, leading to soreness in the great toe joints. Fine after that.
HTH.

I have Crocs Saffron nursing shoes. I really like them. I want to get a black pair to wear day to day.
I also bought a pair of Shape-Ups. I wore them once, my right knee hurt so bad I thought it was going to rot off and it's hurt ever since... I can't say for sure that it was the shoes but I don't like them.

I tried on a pair of Danskos but it was like standing on concrete for me! So, there aren't any "best" shoes for everyone because what some find super comfy, others don't.
On another "best shoes" thread, lots of people said they wear regular athletic shoes and they're great for their feet. Me? I cringe at the thought.
So, its best to try lots of different shoes and see what works best for you, although these types of threads DO give us a starting point with ideas!
Good luck!

I tried on Danskos too, and they were the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever put on me feet!!
For this semester (my first), I just had super cheap sneakers ($12 from Walmart), and while they were okay, I realized that I need better shoes for the rest of school.
I'm probably gonna get the Spring Step Gretas (http://www.shoebuy.com/spring-step-greta/119252). I tried them on in the store, and they seem very comfortable and supportive, and the price isn't bad!

I have two pair, one for school and the other is only for clinical days. The pair I use for school are Dr. Scholls with the "shape-up" soles, and then my other pair are Skechers Shape-up slip resistant in all white. I love both of them. No back-aches or achy feet.
