best i quit or fired story

This isnt mine personally.

The administrator pulled the housekeeper in her office to let her go. Apparently when the boss told the housekeeper(slim female) she turned into the terminator and FLIPPED the 50inch(just estimating) desk on the boss. Chile i never seen such jerry springer like behavior on the job in my life.

Now THATS a way to go out with a bang.

Interesting stories, l will add one.

On the unit where I worked, a particular nurse and CNA never got along. Both kept accusing the other of being lazy. One night, an argument occurred between the two over a hat that hadn't been emptied. In this argument, they called each other names that rhymed with stick and runt. After the CNA called the nurse's special needs son a "retard", the nurse smacked her, turning the argument into a physical alteration. I'm talking hair pulling, scratching, and punching. A charge nurse, nurse, and CNA that tried to break it up were all hurt. I did not attempt to stop the fight. Security was called, and they were the ones who broke up the fight. The unit manager came in, spoke with them and sent them home. The nurse continued to work there, and the CNA was fired.

That was the craziest shift for me ever!

I worked in a billing office and was supposed to be able to work from home when the new manager took over. Got a new desk with all the trimmings, then found out she lied to me about it. I typed " I quit" on the floating screen saver with a note with her name on it, on my computer, so when she came in, she saw it.

The image in my head of this has me DYING. Hahahahahaha!

-I turned in my 2 week notice at an LTC job and left it on the DON's desk. When my last day came, everyone was shocked and confused. They had been trying to figure out who had turned in the notice but nobody even considered me because I only worked PT every other weekend.

Years ago, I worked for a horribly abusive DON at a LTC facility.

When one CNA went into her office one day to talk to her about something, the DON responded with "You wear too much make-up and you look like a whore!"

The CNA punched her right in the mouth and yelled " F*** you, I quit!"

I made sure to run up to the CNA and shake her hand before she left.

Oh yes! I always love a good "cat fight" to spice up the evening! :)

We had one between 2 sisters - a nurse and a ward clerk. Earrings came off and wigs went flying. :)
