If you look at those stickys at the top, there's a cross country comparison of wages!
I'm not in Canada (yet, some relatives are), but as a rule I would say high wages come with high cost of living, so at the end you might not have more in your pocket.
I would choose the province and the area where you like to live, according to your prefernces, for instance do you like mountains, prairie, sea, big cities, smaller towns, rural or not and so on.

You really need to decide where you want to live and how you see you living in Canada. As well as mentioned above you need to think on the weather, if you don't drive look at public transport etc.

Don't come to Toronto! Big city attitudes and high cost of living. I'm outta here as soon as I graduate, moving to the west coast.

Why, it's expensive and cliquey?

so sad, but true..
Are you asking about Toronto?
Yes, yes it is. People here think we're New York Jr. Always in a rush and never accommodating to others. Rent is ridiculous, buying a house even more so
I go to school in the heart of downtown so I see the worst of the city. It's smelly, smoky and just overall depressing. I would say only half of the population knows how to speak English, the rest don't bother learning because there are so many segmented cultural/ethnic areas here. Now that I'm older I do see why most of the rest of Canada hates Toronto.

Absolutely London, Ottawa, pretty much anywhere but T.O.
Absolutely, Ottawa is a fantastic city. Who says you have you have to live in the city anyways? I live in a small village north of Toronto and it is beautiful.
