So I purchased flashcards, I am in the lab, and so far doing well in the class. I use youtube and anatomy.tv thru our school library. I didn't want to pay for the Mastering A&P though...what do you use?

A willing friend and a sharpie. Works really well for visualizing the muscles on a person.

What book are you using? I have the online membership for Human Anatomy and Physiology by Marieb 8th addition if you want to use mine. A bunch of us in class share it...

If you are doing well, keep doing what you are doing. I agree with That Guy. Drawing it out helps.

http://www.anatomyarcade.com!! I love it! You can play poke-a-muscle or whack-a-bone. You can put together puzzles of optical nerves and word searches on the brain....everything you can think of and it is sooo fun! It beat the heck out of labeling and relabeling some dumb book ! (lol) and I find I know my stuff better with 2 hrs of playing games than someone who spent 3 hrs studying! Give it a shot, even if its just as a break from the daily grind! :)
Love this site! Thanks for recommending it!!!

The coloring book was my best friend. Repeat the part name over and over as you color it. the hard ones get a lot of color. Photocopy the pages of the really tough ones so you can make jigsaw puzzles, fill in the blank or just have extras that you see everywhere.
jigsaw puzzles: make an extra large copy of a diagram. Make dark outlines and label the back with the name. Coloring first is helpful. Cut it up, mix it and piece it back... Say the name of each part as you handle it.

This is really cool, I'm excited about this one. Just recommended to my teacher as well.

they have a ton of labeling games. they also have games where you can label the actual body part (i.e. labelling a sheep's brain). so helpful!!
