  1. I am taking general bio, food and nutrition and soc
  2. what biology are you taking?
  3. I am 33 with four school aged children. I have taken prereqs on and of for years. I had to start from the very bottom. Now I only have four prereqs left before I apply. I wanted to have all my prereqs done before applying.
  4. Can you please please give me some advice on what to study for the teas v. I would greatly appreciate it.
  5. Is this all of the courses your school requires? Mines require a whole lot more than this. However, I agree with most of the others you do not want to take two many classes at once unless you know you have enough time to study for all classes. sciences are demanding and you want to get the best grades you can.
  6. Oh my! you remind me so much of my self. I am a 33 year old mother of four(13,11,4, and 6). I am trying to finish my pre requisites. I started years ago but with younger children it was hard for me because I dont have much help. However, I knew that this is what I wanted . My youngest will be in school full time during the fall so I have time to pick up where I left off. My fiance is a truck driver and works anywhere from 3am to 6-7pm. So I still feel I am on my own even though he is around sometimes. But with all this I love my kids and I feel I am doing this because Nursing is my passion. I received my cna in 2005. I am going to keep striving no matter how much it takes. My kids are going to be much happier in the end knowing I am able to provide the things they need because I pushed my self to be a successful nurse and I achieved my goal. And hopefully it will help them to be strong when they grow up so that they can achieve their goals. I think you can do anything you put your mind right age does not matter never give up on your dreams.
  7. I am taking soc 290 health 109 nutrition, and intro to bi bio 149, do you think I can pass nutrition without having a&p first?
  8. I am attending jjc right now, prerequisites, how did you study for the teas I am nervous about taking it
  9. I was a c.n.a. since 2005 I am now taking prerequisites for nursing. But when I first became a c.n.a. I was so terrified of death. I also thought about it before I started prerequisites. But being a c.n.a. relieved my anxiety somewhat. But I guess the more you are introduced to it your anxiety subsides. You will be fine you can do this.

  11. I am 33 I have four children(13,10,6, and 4) I still have sociology, nutrition,Gen bio, which I am taking in the fall and I also have general chem, micro, A&P I and II left to take. I have been taking courses over a quite of few years. But now since my youngest will be in school full time I can focus on school a little more.
  12. I am a mother of four school aged children and yes it is hard I too feel like pre requisites will never end
  13. I am a mother of four school aged children. I have been taking pre requisites over several years. At first I knew I wanted to be a nurse but with the children at some point I had my doubts because I just did not have time in my schedule for children and school and at that time my kids were my number on priority. Now that I am 33 and all of my kids are in school full time I am going to start taking the rest of my prerequisites in the fall . But again maybe a time will come in your life when you will just know whether nursing is for you because I definitely know after all these years that nursing is for me.
