Going to school while working full time?
So I may be taking a manger position coming up here in a month or so at my current job. But I still want to start nursing school. So, my schedule as a manager would be one of the following: Monday and Friday off Tuesday: 2:30-11:30 Wednesday and Thursday: 10:30 pm-7:30 am Saturday and Sunday: 5:30 am-3:30 pm OR Friday-Tuesday: 10:30 pm-7:30 am Wednesday and Thursday off Would either of these be a viable option while in nursing school? And yes, I'm okay with not having much of a social life during this time.

Is this too much to handle?
Yupp. That's all my community college requires. I'm kinda happy that it's a pretty short list. Haha (:

Medical Terminology class online?
You guys basically just solidified my decision for me. I was afraid of taking it since it was online, and I don't have any experience with doing classes online. But I think it would be worth it.

Had a doctor give me great advice the other day. Something to think about.
This actually hits home with me. I've been trying to rush into everything, trying to get everything done at once and start my career that I want for the rest of my life. But in the meantime, I have forgotten to actually live and enjoy my life. It's very important not to put everything that is important to you on hold because, when you come back around for whatever you ignored, it may be gone; whether that be a relationship, your family, or travelling.

Is this too much to handle?
Well I've been thinking this over for a while and decided (thanks in part to all of your helpful responses) that I'm going to spread my prereqs out over a semester or two. I have to work 40 hours a week because I'm paying for college out of pocket, so I guess I shouldn't be in any hurry. Haha. Thank you all for your thoughts!

Medical Terminology class online?
Would it be bad to take a medical terminology class online through my community college? Also, how do you all feel about online classes in general compared to the traditional setting?

Is this too much to handle?
I'm starting community college this coming fall semester. The prerequisites for the nursing program are General Psychology, Intro to Cell Bio, A&P 1, and Micro Bio. Would that be too much to take in one semester? Haha.

CNA job and College?
After I graduate highschool, I'll be a CNA because of a program I'm going through for nursing during my senior year. I plan to start two years if community college (free because of A+) and then transfer to a four year. What does a normal work week look like for a cna at either a nursing home or a hospital and will I struggle doing both college and a cna job at the same time?
