I didn't enroll in any classes for the spring so I could refresh on my sciences and study for the teas. Hopefully we will get it !!!yes I'm looking into mt. Sac and citrus college. Hi Sounds like you already put work into CC and should should probably finish it there and get an ADN. Seem like the other school is going to cost you more time and that is more valuable then money ??? I think you should stick with the CC and then transfer for your BSN.

HI!!! I'm Christine:cat: This is finals week for me!! yay!! I am attending Chaffey College and I just finished all the Prerequisites for the program!!! This is a little step towards whats to come, but I am so happy and proud of myself!!!! I started in spring 2014 at Long Beach City College, but have now moved back to the inland empire with my parents, so I transferred to Chaffey college. Its taken me a little longer then I would have liked because I was working full time in addition to ending a 9 year relationship because if I stayed I would not be able to accomplish my goals. I am taking spring 2017 off because I would like to refresh myself on my sciences. I took those in fall 2014/spring 2015 and also would like to study for the Teas, which I have not yet taken, my counselor advised me to wait until I got into the program and take it then because they will pay for it. I am very excited and hope to be starting in fall 2017!!! Anyone attended this program or currently enrolled ? Anyone else starting Chaffey College ADN program soon spring 2017/ fall 2017?? lets be friends ?? I've heard lots of things about this program both excellent and also horrifying?? I'm not gonna worry about that too much the bad stuff sounds like they drill you and in my opinion a hard shove in the right direction never hurt anyone...... right? I hope to find someone people who are in my shoes !!! It's so close yet to far!!! baby steps.......I'll get there !!!

Same Thing here !!!!! Im so ashamed to not be done by now but I need to just focus. Ive been with my boyfrend for seven years and I can't wait to get married and start a family but not until Ive taken care of my goals first :) good luck to you !!!!! we can do this !!!!! :)

WOW!!!! I feel a little foolish saying am I kidding myself !!!!! I dont have kids, I have "kids" two dogs and a cat lol. So if single moms, moms of 5 , and people twice or three times my age can then im crazy to doubt myself !!!!! You guys are truly amazing !!!!! Im ready now and when I was younger I dont think I would have taken it seriously. Its taken living life on my own and stuggling to try to make it to see that I want something better for myself !!!!! I have wonderful parents and an amazing boyfriend that are a great support system Its time I do something to better myself and follow my dream !!!!!! Thank you all for your kind words !!!!!! :)!!!!!!!

I think thats what was also discouraging because it seems like why can I not finish my prereqs!!!!! but its just that its hard to get the classes you need sometimes but im going to give it my all and be patient!!!!! Everyones comments are so encouraging you guys are amazing !

I'm turning 25 soon and I want to be a RN, am I kidding myself? I only have a few general Ed courses taken and well I'm pretty much starting out from the bottom. I've taken breaks between schools and did not take it seriously from the beginning. I get discouraged because everyone tells me that the programs are wait listed and it takes like 4years to get 2 year degree. Anyone out there in my shoes?
