Bernie Sanders gets nurses union endorsement - CNNPolitics.com
Thoughts?
(I don't know if this should be across the way on The Blue Side. Mods, feel free to move it around)

Regardless of what Hillary thinks there will be those who will vote for her because she is a woman and it's the PC thing to do. That's how Obama got in-the majority of AA voted for him because of his skin color. We live in a country where qualifications and lack of them mean nothing. It's about being PC and being able to brag that you helped put the first AA or woman in office as the first woman or AA president. And also being behind a person that represent your skin color or gender.
Would you have felt the same way if Sarah Palin had become the first female VP? If McCain had won and then been too ill to govern or even died in office, would she have been qualified to become president?

I, for one, cannot figure out what is "refreshing" about rude, inconsiderate, and inflammatory speech from a man who wants to be POTUS.

Senator Bernie Sanders (I) has been smoking his opponents for the House and then the Senate for over twenty years. He is seeking the Democratic nomination and with the right running mate he could do it again.
One top tier issue is immigration reform. Sen Sanders has voiced his opposition to the import of non citizens in vast numbers to the point that wages are suppressed for American Workers. I am actually looking forward to the debates on this complex issue and USvforeign policy.
S.864 for Federal Nurse Patient ratios is co-sponsored by Senators Boxer and Sanders.

I am a registered independent voter and Minnesota does not allow open primaries. I'm half tempted to change my affiliation to Democrat so I can vote for Bernie Sanders in the primaries.

Somebody said Trump is refreshing. Refreshing in a sick demented way. If you really think about it, his tweets, his campaign speeches, the words that comes out of his mouth would be censored in allnurses.com. So what do we think of that?

Let's be real here: if he wasn't Donald Trump, he'd be in jail for hate mongering and inciting riots.

If you are not a registered voter, do it now so that you can vote in your caucus or primary.
That's interesting. I can sort of see why they went that way; he's got some pretty good momentum going, and and Hillary...well, seems like her time has come and gone.
Wasnt she already president for eight years when Bill was in office?!
