Bernie Sanders gets nurses union endorsement - CNNPolitics.com
Thoughts?
(I don't know if this should be across the way on The Blue Side. Mods, feel free to move it around)
The teachers union gave the nod to Hillary, yes?
I'm in a very small, weak union with no political aspirations. We can't even agree on lunch.

That's interesting. I can sort of see why they went that way; he's got some pretty good momentum going, and and Hillary...well, seems like her time has come and gone.

I like this Sanders, even though he's a leftist. He seems honest and an Independent. I may vote for him, even if I disagree with some of his socialist leanings.
Me too, but it seems foregone that Hillary will get the Democratic nod.
At least by Hillary...

Regardless of what Hillary thinks there will be those who will vote for her because she is a woman and it's the PC thing to do. That's how Obama got in-the majority of AA voted for him because of his skin color. We live in a country where qualifications and lack of them mean nothing. It's about being PC and being able to brag that you helped put the first AA or woman in office as the first woman or AA president. And also being behind a person that represent your skin color or gender.
I voted for him and I'm white, and a woman.

Same here. Also I can't believe I'm this excited about an old white guy running for office, but go Bernie!
LOL.
Well, most if them *are* old white guys.

Yes, black people only voted for the democratic candidate for president because he happened to black, because otherwise black people always vote republican?

Nope, I don't agree with this at all.
Well, maybe the part about "qualifications and lack of them mean nothing". I think I could come up with a few candidate names that seem to be woefully lacking in qualifications to be POTUS yet they enjoy popularity within their political party.
