Are clinical locations determined by location of residence?

In hybrid it wasn't. We had people assigned to the Texas Neuro (way south Austin) group who lived in North Austin and vice versa. They gave us an opportunity to switch with someone if we found someone to switch with. This will be done during the mandatory orientation done in August.

Well that sucks. I'm really hoping for Brack or DCMC since I currently work there.

I got into RR campus and I was wondering if anyone else did and if you wanted to get together for open lab? Congrats to everyone that got in and as for the background checks, I submitted mine on Monday and when I checked on Friday it was done so it just takes a few days.

Does any know how the lecture is done in ACC nursing program?

I heard about the module which will be posted on blackboard.

Does this module include some lecture notes or do students have to study with just textbooks?

We have modules and in the modules we have learning/study guides which questions come straight off of. There are also PP to print of and bring to class for notes. There are also some matching games/vocab terms I use. Then their are quizzes not for a grade but every test I had there were at least 2 questions exactly from the quizzes so do them. Me, I studied with the guides, pp, vocabulary games and quizzes and did very well. Some people just do PP. It depends on the person but just going to class and reading the PP personally is not enough and reading the book/ doing the guides made info make sense to me. The quizzes I cannot stress enough to study them, they have freebie questions practically.

Hi! I got into RR also and have been looking for someone to do open lab with, i think they said it was open the week before classes start, my email is [email protected] so you can email at some point closer to that time and we can set up a time. thanks! :)

Hybrid has 3 lecture teachers but like someone from CEC said, it doesn't matter who you register for because they all teach us the content. The only time it would make a difference would be in clinical. Since we can't mention names on here I can definitely give you a rundown on the differences between the three instructors and which clinical sites they are assigned to if you want to send me a private message. I think you have to have a certain number of posts on here before you might be able to do that though.

I still haven't and I know my background check is completed

Has anyone gotten an email clearing for registration? I turned in the background check last Friday and still haven't heard anything.

I haven't got mine back either and my CBC is complete soooo were all in the same boat just waiting, it doesn't really matter though because when we register, all of the classes are at the same times, so its not really going to matter when we register, but it would be nice to get it over and done with :)

They said it would be a week or 2.
