Nobody was wearing masks at Former President Obama's superspreader event. Not surprising considering his lack of respect for life. The man known best for his racial division, genocide of Libyans, and murder of the Dallas 5 still hasn't found his moral compass. He could take a page out of Former President Trump's playbook and encourage people to get vaccinated/wear masks.
EXCLUSIVE: At least 74 people on Martha's Vineyard have tested positive for Covid-19 since Barack Obama's maskless 60th birthday bash - the most cases on the island since April
A total of 74 people on Martha's Vineyard have tested positive for Covid-19 since former President Barack Obama's 60th birthday on Saturday
The spike in cases is more than any week since April on Martha's Vineyard
Health officials note it's still too early to know whether the hundreds of guests and workers at the maskless parties have contributed to the surge in cases
'At this time we're not aware of any cases connected to the Obama party,' a Tisbury health agent and boards of health spokesperson told DailyMail.com
'It's a little too early and the only way we're going to know is through comprehensive contact tracing,' they added
Hundreds of people attended the party, flying in from around the country and congregating under tents where partiers danced, ate and drank the night away

Hummm. Is that vaccine hesitancy? Or misinformation? The hypocrisy is deafening.
I don't remember that but thanks to the post above for posting their link.
When Trump, long before the vaccines were announced by Pfizer, stated that he would have a vaccine by the end of the year even the World Health Organization doubted that. Doubting that a vaccine was possible and safe is different than the hesitancy we are seeing today.
As I've said many times, Trump did deliver, Biden and everyone thanked him. It could have been his crowning achievement and something positive he was remembered for, but instead he decided to focus on creating the myth that the election was fraudulent, something he's still doing today.

There's one. Google it. It's everywhere.

Yes, misinformation, disinformation and propaganda is available all over the Internet.

I already did as I do with posts that aren't linked and I don't remember (although the poster providing links would be better..hint...LOL).
But I do thank you and my post above stands as my response.
I wouldn't take a vaccine only on Trump's say so any more than I would inject bleach. But like Harris and millions of other people, when science said it was safe I took it. Not the same thing as "vaccine hesitancy".

Where did they ever thank him?
I've heard several times President Biden thanking Trump for the vaccine development on Colbert show and during televised COVID Vaccine news conferences.
The Tik-Tok video saying Joe Biden and Kamala Harris distrusted COVID-19 vaccines was selectively edited; Politifact has full statement made by Biden and Harris:
Quote
..."Keep doubting, They actually said this, it’s not editing," says the heading on the video, which contains clips of statements made by Biden and Harris appearing to cast doubt on the vaccine while they were campaigning last year.
In fact, the clips are selectively edited to take the statements out of context. The parts that are left out make clear that Biden and Harris were raising questions not about the vaccines themselves, but about then-President Donald Trump’s rollout of the vaccines and the risk that the effort would become rushed or politicized....

I said Biden and everyone and perhaps the "everyone" might have been an exaggeration. I think because we've already discussed this a couple of times I didn't feel the need to link, but thanks to Karen above for the links.
Fauci also said back in June "I can tell you that no doubt the former Administration deserves a considerable amount of credit for the effort that was put into Operation Warp Speed, that was able to allow not only the rapid development and testing, but also the implementation of the vaccine. So, there’s no doubt in my mind, as someone who has been on both sides of the fence to say that’s the case.”
I will admit that Democrats were loathe to praise Trump for any reasons and the rhetoric from the right was the the Democrats after they took over in January was taking all the credit for the vaccine.
Biden only gets credit from me for trying to continue to roll out the vaccine at a quick as possible pace.
McConnel said in July 2021
"And after the Biden administration was very eager to claim ownership and spike the football on the vaccination trajectory which they largely inherited from Republican leadership, we've now seen vaccination rates in many places plateau on what this White House has been insisting is their watch."
...and so it goes.
Bottom line to me is Trump was instrumental in getting the vaccine and that's his baby. Biden continued the program but met with hesitancy that was complicated by conspiracy theories, and other hesitancy. While that happened on Biden's time I don't think Biden should take ownership of that when he's clearly been pro vaccine all along.

Wasn't that Trump's job as President to employ every avenue to respond to the virus with ways to protect the people of the US? Why does he deserve thanks for doing his job? When you do your job do you get national thanks?
And frankly, Trump obstructed the US's response to the pandemic through his rhetoric.."it will be gone by..." 'I won't wear a mask", and the holy "It's a hoax" and sidelined those experts who were actually trying to protect/instruct the US citizens.

LOL
We hear and read this sort of nonsense from Trump supporters regularly. We all know that what Harris and others said was that they didn't trust Trump...most people understand that Trump lied about covid regularly. Besides, republican and libertarian voters certainly not likely to refuse vaccination because Pelosi or Harris said a thing.
However, if you would like to share some of the propaganda that convinced you of this for review, we could explain how you've been fooled.
