Hello!
I am starting this thread separate from another thread that has been posted on numerous times. I recently heard from my nurse corps recruiter that they would soon be pulling selected people off the OML and commissioning them within the next couple months or so. We are currently half way through the fiscal year and this is apparently when the army starts to make decisions on their current needs to complete the army nurse corps new officer spots for that year. Just a reminder, the OML list is made of officer candidates that were selected to commission but were not offered a spot at that time. As I recall, there were a decent amount of us in this position after the November and December boards! I personally am on the OML list after the December boards for a 66H and am from the Nashville, TN area :)

Good luck to all!
Hey everyone. I'm stuck on the enlisted train. I'm currently deployed in Kuwait as a Specialist. I'm looking to join the reserves. My ETS is in October of 2018. I don't want to have a break in service. I need a recruiter that will get me into the ANC. I have my BSN, I've completed my 2807-1 and 2808. I just need a reserve recruiter that wants an easy accession. Anybody have any suggestions?I live in the state of Alabama. None of the recruiting offices are answering my calls right now.
How much experience do you have, and any specialty certs? They are usually looking for critical care and OR. Anything else is not really in demand.
I'm a 66S. My friend is also commissioning into a 66S slot. Very excited. And congrats to everyone that was offered a commission this year. If you are still on OML STAY DETERMINED and continue to build your skill set. You'll get in eventually!
So you just found out yesterday? So maybe something will be coming thru soon for the rest of us selected.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Exercises? You're gonna be well dressed in a suit.....what kinda exercises thry expect you to do.
Apparently it is called the army occupational physical assessment. It does not sound hard but as you stated I am planning on wearing nice clothes and now will bring some work out clothes. It is just weird that I did not hear about this until last week. I am just glad to finally be getting this step taken care of.
