Army Reserve OML FY2017

Hello!

I am starting this thread separate from another thread that has been posted on numerous times. I recently heard from my nurse corps recruiter that they would soon be pulling selected people off the OML and commissioning them within the next couple months or so. We are currently half way through the fiscal year and this is apparently when the army starts to make decisions on their current needs to complete the army nurse corps new officer spots for that year. Just a reminder, the OML list is made of officer candidates that were selected to commission but were not offered a spot at that time. As I recall, there were a decent amount of us in this position after the November and December boards! I personally am on the OML list after the December boards for a 66H and am from the Nashville, TN area :)

If you leave a comment below, you will get updates when others post on here! Feel free to share anything you hear from your recruiters, peers, etc.

Good luck to all!

So have you received an update yet? I feel like if "F" was supposed to know something this week then I may be waiting until first part of Feb. At least the anxiety of waiting for scroll is completely different than waiting for selection.

I think it's best to check in with your recruiter every 2-3 weeks. That's what I did from November until about the end of February when I was called up from OML.

There's a lot they have to do. And if the ones selected can't get a security clearance they move on.

Don't think too much into it. Just wait for the call. And if it doesn't come that's ok. Just keep building your resume TO MAKE YOU BEST QUALIFIED for your job....and try again this FY! You'll get in! Stay positive.

I've been selected just waiting on the scroll process to complete and then commission. According to my recruiter it is processed alphabetically.

I received my scroll back on Jan 5 and my last name begins with L. I am now waiting on some system updates that have to do with the contract and then i can commission.

I got an email back from my recruiter last night that my scroll isn't back yet. I was actually supposed to commission Saturday but it's a no go now. My recruiter just keeps saying the scroll isn't back yet

Just wondering if you can share any insight to what the process was like after you commissioned; such as did you have to do the mini-bootcamp stint at Ft Sill prior to BOLC; what's drill like and so forth.

Hey has anyone heard anything new? I have radio silence on my end

Nothing on my end either. Trying to work on my PT to keep my mind off of it. LOL

I was told the update would hopefully be done next week. I have been checking in weekly just to make sure.

Im hoping we here something this month!

So middle of the month... Has anyone heard anything? I just reached out to my recruiter and am waiting for a response.
