It all depends on your orders, your unit's drill schedule. For me I took the oath in may, signed my contract in June and my first drill is November.

I've been a nurse for 8 years. ADN for 3 years. 5 years with a BSN. I think I got three and a half years constructive credit. I've been working on a cardiac step down unit almost four years. I commissed as an O-2.

I'm close to finishing the process for AR Nurse Corp. There's a few things I can tell you. I started the process in Feb 2017. I boarded in Oct 2017 got selected November 2017 scrolled in May2018 Signed my contract June 2018 and got orders late sept 2018. But everyone's process will be different depending on AOC (specialty). It's a marathon not a sprint. Patience will run low for sure. Stay positive and focused. You want to follow up frequently with your recruiter. Depending on your civilian specialty try to get certified to stand out. If you have any other questions feel free to inbox me.

I'm a reserve 66H who was selected in the oct 2017 board. I found out I was selected November 12. My scroll came back may 12th. I took the oath of office May 30. Officially signed my contract June 15th due to errors with my paper work. I was told my paperwork was accepted by HR July 23rd and another thirty days until orders are cut and published. I didn't get an email from HR (yet?). Everyone's experience is different but the same hurry up and wait.

I got the word my unofficial scroll is back but waiting on the signed one. They seem to be coming back weekly. I still have a few more weeks to wait he said

I'm in the northeast. My recruiter told me I was selected in November. My paperwork didn't go in until the end of December. Im hopping to hear something soon.

Do reservists also need to go to DCC? Or is it only active duty ?

I'm have a seriously different experience. They told me a post before being selected. But never told me the type of unit. Now I have a list of units names but no other information. He suggesting calling the units and asking for more information. But I haven't scrolled yet nor signed anything no ones talking to me.
