Hello, All! My packet for 66P AD packet is almost complete and will be submitted for the October Board, fingers crossed. Anyone else waiting for this board? How has your whole process been? Anyone who has previously undergone this experience is more than welcome to give input! Thanks!

Well that’s not too far away sorry that happened though. I’m just hoping to hear if I got in or not. Waiting is no fun

My recruiter said the board is open for two days and that's all it takes them to decide.. but they can't release the results for a few weeks. Nerve racking to know that the decision is already made while you wait!

I've been following this thread & thought I would share how my timeline went, not to discourage anybody but more to provide insight. In June 2017 I contacted a recruiter & began the process to submit a packet for a 66S slot reserve side. The board met in October 2017. I was notified November 2018 I was selected. My recruiter kept telling me 45-60 days max for me to scroll & then I could commission & receive orders. My scroll did not come thru until May 2018. I commissioned, signed my contract & waited for orders. Over the next 4 months I had to resign my contract 2 more times. Sept 26 I was assigned to my unit. Official orders were not relayed to me until the end of November 2018. Dec i got my ID, uniforms & had my first drill.

It will eventually come. Just be patient & stay in constant contact with your recruiter. It can be very frustrating for sure. (I will say that it seemed like the ones who went active over reserve did seem to have things accomplished in a more timely manner),

Oh my!! I'm sorry to hear about the delay! I know what you mean about not being informed! I ended up having to go to MEPS 3 times. Keep us posted and my fingers crossed for you for the May board!

My recruiter told me preliminary yes from the board but can’t confirm until we get a document back from congress. He said everything looks very good! So excited! Now the big time hurry up and wait begins!

How many years of experience did you have in the OR and did you have your CNOR? Captain, right off the bat.....that’s great!!
