Just wanted to update you all: I finally received my orders about 2 weeks ago! Selected in Nov 2018 Commissioned in Mar 2019 Orders in Oct 2019

I'm still waiting on my orders. Selected in Nov and commissioned in March. Unfortunately, I believe everyone is waiting.

I don't know if they will make you go to DCC or not since you are already an Army Officer. I don't believe they will have specific AOC training. I am coming in as 66P and the only two courses I will be required to complete prior to reporting are DCC and BOLC. Congrats on your selection!

For Reservists and NG, DCC is 3 weeks. For Active Duty, DCC is 4 weeks.

I'm not sure about the board dates. For FY19, they tried to start in July when they traditionally start in Oct. AMEDD recruiter should know that information though. If you are considering trying to commission in the first board, my advice would be to start your packet now. It will take a few months to complete and QC the paperwork in addition to getting your physical at MEPS.

Shaycb7 is correct. Your best bet for these questions is an AMEDD recruiter. Honestly, I do not have that much information regarding CRNA or Reserve nursing. There is a program for CRNA school where you are paid full time and tuition is free; however, you are required to complete an Active Duty contract after you graduate. I don't know what the mission for CRNA reservists looks like either, and I am not familiar with the incentives. These incentives also change.

Thank you for the heads up! What happened to your HPLRP? Were you able to submit your paperwork on time? Also, you can't get your HPLRP and your accession bonus at the same time. I think you can only get one and then the other once the first is complete.
