  1. Mine was a little over 2 pages.
  2. It should give an introduction of the capstone research you plan on executing in your DNP program.
  3. How did the first semester go?? I'm surprised I made it out! It was brutal but I learned the areas that I am weak in.
  4. I have seriously considered withdrawing from my DNP program. I'm tired of fighting at work and then have to come home and fight with professors sitting on their high horse is not gonna fly with me. I am often asking myself what are the benefits, what is the worth of this degree. The other NPs that are DNPs are still having to fight for respect and still end up seeing her load and the doctors load too! You hear the side bar conversations amongst your so called "colleagues" about the degree and wonder where is the respect. So what's the purpose and what's the point of obtaining this degree.
  5. Hi all, Is anybody having a hard time with 701??
  6. The University of Alabama Capstone might be cheap. They are online and classroom if you choose to do so.
  7. No you are not! Trust me, I got the instructions the second time around as they were very vague. After the emails went out for clarification, I was like oooooooookkkkkk! So no, you are not dumb.
  8. Week 1 down!! Yeah!! Week 2 looks like a doozy. Anybody download SPSS yet??
  9. First assignment posted in NUR 700 from M1. How is everybody else doing as far as juggling work, life, and school??
  10. Hi Hill, I am a FNP working in school health in a full service health suite. I am also a mother of 4 boys and two of them play football. I started reading the little white book already to get a head start on things. Let's see where the semester takes us! Chat with you soon (Aug 19th)!
  11. Thank you jaabrn! That certainly eased some of the tension I was feeling going in this Aug. I will be PT and working at a HRSA facility while completing this program. I pray for strength and congratulations on your DNP completion!
  12. So INR and Albumin that's all over the place, think liver damage. Mg, Phos, and Ca go with kidney as well as BUN and Creatinine. Sodium-Postassium think cardiac and so on. I always go to my Patho book to brush up on those things. Hope that helps!
  13. The inverse of the Albumin and INR could hone in on liver problems ie hepatitis or carcinoma. You could draw a AFP tumor marker as well to help with the differential diagnosis. CEA can go with those labs mentioned too.
