Thank you Mikey for sharing your unique perspective!! It is really unique that you are an applicant and also a recruiter!! I would like your insight on my situation.. Last month, October 2020, I was accepted to a CRNA school starting June 2021. I would like to apply for STRAP program + HPLP as a 66F Reserve. (I am aware of how many years I would have to serve if I take STRAP + HPLP) I have talked to a AMEDD recruiter, but that person seemed to be not so knowledgeable about this. Therefore, I would love to hear your opinion on this! I would really appreciate if you would explain me anything you know about this! Thank you very much in advance!!

Hello everyone, - Applied for 66S Army Reserve - Got selected in May 2020 board with pending physicals (I had some surgery prior, but my medical waivers were approved/cleared. I still need to go to MEPS. It was closed due to COVID crisis) 1. From this point, what should I expect to happen? 2. I also signed up for bonus (25K per year for 4 years) & HPLRP. How will this be provided? Will I get a yearly 25K while getting my HPLRP throughout 3 years? 3. I live in New York City and do not have a car. Does anyone stationed in NY know where the reserve units are? If I get my unit far enough that I have to rent a car or fly, would the Army reimburse you for it? I would appreciate any help!
