Hello, All! My packet for 66P AD packet is almost complete and will be submitted for the October Board, fingers crossed. Anyone else waiting for this board? How has your whole process been? Anyone who has previously undergone this experience is more than welcome to give input! Thanks!

You may not hear until after the holiday weekend. I’m not counting on my scroll to be signed until late July at the earliest. A lot of vacations and time off for government employees ?
Update: I'm not super happy with my results. My recruiter said I'm in some kind of limbo list where I'm "on hold" to be pulled if anyone backs out of their contract, and i'll remain in that list until September. If no one needs to be replaced I'll have to resubmit for October boards to be included in the next fiscal year and at that time I'll be in the "front of the line". So he said "It's not a yes and it's not a no." Has anyone had any experience with this? I'm super frustrated. Now I have to just do nothing until OCTOBER!!! We were hoping to be packing up by then!!! I'm so upset, I feel like they think I'm not worthy. Ugh. Thank you all for listening.

You are on the OML (Order of Merit List). There are a couple threads on All nurses regarding this. Your recruiter is correct though. If this is what you really want, don't give up yet. You still have a chance. It may just be a little longer.

I received the same result. I know how you feel.

Don’t give up. I spent almost a year working with the navy to be lead around in circles and be told oh we don’t need NPs and haven’t recruited for that in 2 years after months of filling out the application MEPS etc. I think this time of year they are conservative waiting on the next fiscal year. Just spend this time getting more letters of recommendation and any additional certifications that may help you stand out.

People do get picked up from the OML. I am sure it is disappointing, but don't give up. OML is far better than "NO." A friend of mine applied for commissioning via CRNA/USAGPAN twice before being picked up some years ago, and he has completed his CRNA/DNP and deployed once already. ? Imagine if he had quit after the first try!

I was selected in November and my scroll was approved in March. Your choices for station will not be discussed with you until you have signed your oath of office and HRC receives your information. Even after swearing in, your packet goes through multiple levels before reaching HRC--- Recruiting Center, Battalion, Brigade, USAREC, HSD, HRC. It's definitely a game of patience.
I signed my oath in March and am still awaiting my orders for DCC/BOLC class dates as well as first duty station assignment.
