Hello, All! My packet for 66P AD packet is almost complete and will be submitted for the October Board, fingers crossed. Anyone else waiting for this board? How has your whole process been? Anyone who has previously undergone this experience is more than welcome to give input! Thanks!

I got a call from my recruiter today, they pulled me from the OML! so i'm no longer a "backup", I"ll be commissioning in the next month or so, and he said my scroll already went through ? Hubby and I are so stoked after thinking we'd have to start all over next fiscal year! Guess I'll really have to get back in shape here quickly haha. Hope everyone has a safe holiday
Congratulations!!!!!!

Yep - 50%. You'd have 5 years toward military rank. Not sure if they are commissioning people as CPT right out of the gate, though.
BSN vs ADN time only matters in the Navy, if I recall correctly. Army counts RN time. ?

Just making dialogue here ?
I was talking recently with a CRNA on another social media platform who direct commissioned to a captain in the army reserve. The person had a cumulative seven years of RN+CRNA experience. I saw supporting evidence as well so it wasn't just hubris, lol.
There is an AMEDD recruiter with a u tube channel who talks about direct commissioning nurses and one could conceivably come in with a master's and receive first lieutenant and she spoke as if years of service could accrue from there with a max of three years credited to rank. The way she says it sounds like one could come in (max) captain + 1 year towards major, and she's reading something from her desk as she's talking. It's a couple of years old now, and I'm unclear if I'm hearing correctly.
