  1. We stayed in the barracks until time to drive to SA. Some people took advance leave and went home then to BOLC. With COVID who knows what they will let y’all do.
  2. So my class was 3 weeks and I’m active duty so they had to cram a bunch of stuff in, so the first two weeks were very long days. They put us in the 3 week class because of some changes with BOLC. The instructors are great and you will learn a lot. It’s definitely a culture shock but if you put forth effort you’ll be fine.
  3. I’m here now just finished and waiting to leave to go to BOLC
  4. Awesome! I finally commissioned in October (selected in April) orders are about to be completed. I go to DCC next month!
  5. Sounds about right. I just knew it would be June at the earliest with how slow everything has been and who knows it still may be June but wow!
  6. I received an email today about possibly starting DCC in January. Talk about going 0-100 mph.
  7. I hope it’s 30-90 days I’m already almost at 30 I hope this doesn’t take another 6 months
  8. I have my DNP my Rn experiences were all ER AS a FNP I do primary and urgent care when I was in school I was in SGA did the senior nurse mentor program, I volunteered at st. Jude
  9. AOC is 66P. I did HPLRP for student loan repayment.
  10. I will be active duty and I don’t know the duty station yet. I have to talk to HRC and get orders from them
  11. I officially commissioned today!
  12. They won’t consider someone without a year experience. If I could do it over I would join as a nurse and have them send you to NP school. They don’t recruit many NPs. The navy has stopped the past few years. I was accepted in the army but I got 3 years experience as a NP after 5 years of ER/trauma. its been a year long process
  13. Good luck! After last year I put in for army and was accepted. I commission next week.
  14. Someone posted the navy quotas for FY2020 and they said 0 for FNP. I hope that changes for you. My first Choice last year was navy but they shut down FNP recruiting as I was going to board. I hope it changes for you
  15. I’m sure it’ll be in another 6 months but yay!!!! I hope you’re next
