Army FY 2019
We stayed in the barracks until time to drive to SA. Some people took advance leave and went home then to BOLC. With COVID who knows what they will let y’all do.

Army FY 2019
So my class was 3 weeks and I’m active duty so they had to cram a bunch of stuff in, so the first two weeks were very long days. They put us in the 3 week class because of some changes with BOLC. The instructors are great and you will learn a lot. It’s definitely a culture shock but if you put forth effort you’ll be fine.

future FNP, Looking for advice
They won’t consider someone without a year experience. If I could do it over I would join as a nurse and have them send you to NP school. They don’t recruit many NPs. The navy has stopped the past few years. I was accepted in the army but I got 3 years experience as a NP after 5 years of ER/trauma. its been a year long process

Someone posted the navy quotas for FY2020 and they said 0 for FNP. I hope that changes for you. My first Choice last year was navy but they shut down FNP recruiting as I was going to board. I hope it changes for you
