Sounds good to me Seiko. I was offered a job in Hershey Medical Center and they started from $21.90 then in a month they sent me a letter that they raise a new graduate salary to $22.90. And it is not just for me because they wanted to sponsor me, it is for all new graduates. So $21.28 sounds pretty fair.
yeah i did, also my 2 kids... but unfortunately retrogression loomed so i'll just have to wait what will happen next... we paid for the their fee and their case type is I824. This form will be used to request a duplicate approval notice, to request approval notice to another U.S. Consulate; and to request notice to a U.S. Consulate for derivative visas to family members. This is to request USCIS to notify a specific US consulate that your status have been adjusted to that of a lawful permanent resident so that your spouse and/or children may apply for an immigrant visa. I just arrived here via tourist visa last june 20, 2006 and my case was filed last october 23, 2006. Received my NOR last october 30, 2006 and my appointment notice last n0vember 2, 2006. Did my biometrics and fingerprinting last nov. 9, 2006. So i'm just waiting for my EAD to arrive, my service center is texas.
what about you? have you filed for your spouse who is in the Philippines? My husband and my 2 kids are in PI too...

Sorry, it is one or the other. You take yourself out of the running if you go for the lottery. ......and take a close look at when you would be able to get a visa via the lottery, it is in very small letters, it is definitely not immediate.
