Can anyone tell me when to expect to get EAD once you file AOS. I already have visascreen.

I just arrived here via tourist visa last june 20, 2006 and my case was filed last october 23, 2006. Received my NOR last october 30, 2006 and my appointment notice last n0vember 2, 2006. Did my biometrics and fingerprinting last nov. 9, 2006. Received my EAD today, nov 20, 2006... my service center is texas...

my question is that i got a letter from USCIS today stating that my I140 petition have been approved, and also a letter regarding my I485 application requesting for evidences like VSC from cgfns, a copy of my current state license... they're giving me 12 weeks to submit these RFE... if i happen to submit all these RFE, what will happen next?

anyone who have inputs are appreciated... thank you so much!

Hi,

If you'll be able to submit the requested docs within the time frame, you will be all set and your pending I-485 will just remain in the backlog until visas open up again. Otherwise, you will receive a notice of "intent to deny" from USCIS and this notice is already a prelude for denial (this is according to my lawyer). Hope this helps.

I submitted the form on sept28,2006 and my I140 hasnot been approved yet.

hope u will get ur gc soon.

guys how long does it take to get ur EAD after finger printing n stuff is done i did my biometrics on NOV 1st, and still havent recieved any news. and i resd few posts and found that some ppl ahve ecived their EAD in matter of a week or two, i already have my OPT EAD with me.. so does it plays in the delay of getting a new one.. hope to get sme insight on the issue.

Could they send us the EAD without requesting the finger print? I just checked my status online and it says that they ordered the production of my EAD card alreadly, but I have not received a notice for finger print yet. I am so confused! Please help!

got my EAD already and went to SS administration to get a number... well i would have to wait for green card approval and i hope it will not take years to have it...

Hi there

As i have been desperately waiting for my EAD approval from 1 month, Today I saw online that my case is updated.It doesnot say anything more just the date has changed and though I had registered for email update notification I havent got any email yet.

What could that be?? Is my EAD approved or that update is for something else??

Please somebody enlighten meeeeee

I did my finger printing before I got EAD. But i have known some people who got EAD before finger printing. I so am pretty sure u too can get one.Seems that ur EAD is approved and u will be notified by email when it is mailed(if u have opened a portfolio)

Sometimes fingerprinting notice is mailed to your attorney not you (it was that on my case )so check it out.

hello, seiko and loved... finger printing has nothing to do with EAD.. when you receive your EAD you will see that there is no finger printing.. the finger printing is for AOS and green card....

how about your I140? Is it approved already?mine is not yet and no updates too.

mtreyes is already working.. no approval of 140 but his travel document's date has change 3 times in the USCIS online status..

A really quick question: do you have your "finger print" on your EAD card?

there is no finger print on my EAD

and you will notice the picture there is the one you submitted with your lawyer...

dont worry your EAD will be there the latest, next week.... start looking for hte nearest social security administration already
