Anyone working this Summer?

Hi everyone, I was just wondering...what do you do for the Summer? Besides maybe camp nursing, are there any other nursing jobs available? Thanks

I am more than likely gonna do the elementary summer school in my district. 3 weeks for 4 hours. Those hours will consist of me reading.

I am always so happy to just chill over the summer. This year I will finish my last 2 classes of grad school and hang at the beach. Ahhhh..but it's so far away!

My work will consist of "working" to take care of my flowers and garden. (Waaaay more flowers than garden, though :) That is my therapy). Besides the church camp that I mentioned yesterday in another thread. I will be chaperoning and being the nurse/mom/cook/bear vigilante/whatever for a big bunch of teenagers to the mountains in Colorado for a week. I am not much of a tough-it-out in the mountains kind of girl. But, this week is the most amazing and life changing experience. I hope I can go every summer until I am too old to walk up the mountain. When this happens, I am going to invite OldDude and Sweet Petunia to come so we can use their golf cart to get us up and down the mountain. I guess Far can tag along, since she has already made summer plans to go see them anyway!

I'm going to be doing summer school at my current gig. M-Th, 8-11:30, only for the month of July. I'll be getting out of work just in time for my pool to be warm. I plan on reading a lot of books.

Why am I working summer school, you ask?

Because I'm getting married!!! My partner in crime proposed on Monday and now the harsh realities of how much weddings cost has truly set in. I wanted to elope but Mister Man insists on a "real wedding" so it's nose to the grindstone this summer. Compromising is important to marriage, right?
