Anyone going to Modesto Junior College?

I'm just curious! I'm just starting (at the ripe 'ol age of 35, LOL!) looking into a career in nursing. I've worked in hospitals and clinics doing medical transcription for years and years, and way back when used to be a pre-physical therapy major (I've taken chemistry, anatomy, biology...don't know if they would count, as it's been several years). I would be attending MJC for pre-reqs and (fiingers crossed) the nursing program eventually and I would really love to have a student's view, how difficult it is to get into the program, any general advice, etc.

Yes, you still get a letter saying that you were not accepted and they all go out at the same time.

Has your mail ran yet?? The website says that all letters will be mailed by July 28th so I think we will get them tomorrow:(

My friend already got her mail and there was no letter. I guess it will be in there tomorrow....

I wonder if they even really got mailed out today..... I just realized also... anyone accepted will have to hurry up and take the TEAS before school starts. 1 month.. thats it!

I want to calla nd ask if they got mailed out for sure so bad but I know that just bugs them and they will probably just refer me to the website, which is still the same, I have been checking it every 20 minutes all day long!!

Anybody hear anything else?

AWWW MANNNN!!! :crying2: A sleepless night for nothing.... lol... I wish they would update the site and tell us whether or not they sent them. Usually stuff only takes a day to get to my house in the mail... I wonder if they were able to get them out yesterday... aghhh... to call or not to call... :uhoh3:

Hey guys!

I too am waiting for my letter. I just called and they said they got mailed out today. So if you live near expect them tomorrow. Sucks to wait but at least we know now that they have been mailed out! Hope this helps!
