Is anyone going to put in their application this fall for Spring or Summer 2010?. I'm excited about finally getting to put in my application, I'll be attending the August 1st info session and be applying for the summer session. I will still be taking pre-reqs in the spring and I was so relieved when I found out I don't have to have everything finished to apply. My GPA is currently 4.0 and I should (I hope!) be able to keep that up until next spring. I'll be done all my sciences at the end of this summer semester and only have a couple math, a history and a pile of social sciences to do (music appreciation anyone!). The admission essay is making me nervous, but I have lots of time to work on it - I hope my GPA helps me out and they don't rely on essay alone.
I'd love to be in contact with anyone looking to get into CU.
BTW - I was going to go to DSN, but changed my mind since I decided to retake some old classes, and since we're paying for our own kids to go to college at the same time, needed to keep the cost down.
Hi all, I am still waiting for the e-mail confirming that they have everything needed to process my application. If the 15th comes and goes and I still don't have it, does anyone have contact info they would share w/ me? The person assigned as my admissions advisor didn't respond to a different inquiry I sent about 3 weeks ago, so I'm not sure what to do.

If you don't get an email, I would call them just in case.

You may even try emailing them. I have always received a quicker response that way. They are swamped so maybe put a title in the email that shows what you are looking for. Good luck!

Did anyone receive the "update" message from the college today? It said the initial review would be finished by Feb 2nd. I'm getting excited. I can't wait til March!

I did. I'm hopeful, but not holding my breath. Thank goodness my last semester for my A.S. begins on Monday, it gives me something to focus on besides this! lol
Yeah, I received that email to...but what does it mean? The initial review Feb 2nd? Will they tell us you are accepted unofficially or something, or is just going to be more emails like what we have gotten.....basically stringing us along!
I am super annoyed! I have already had to put down 2 deposits! I just want to know where I will be going already! Good luck to all during this extremely long wait!
Yup, got an e-mail as well. I think they are just meant to keep us updated on the process periodically. I am not expecting any yes/no decision until late March.

Me too ada324. I think its pretty considerate to keep the students updated. Of course, they could have ulterior motives, they could be doing it to keep the inquiry calls down to a minimum!
