  1. Ohh, Thank you so much. I'm sure that I will need someone I go to. I will most likely be taking you up on that!
  2. That's so good to know. Thanks for the info! I will be applying to that internship. Is it hard to get into the internship program? It's also good to know that they want you to succeed. I will try my very hardest, it's great that there are people to help you out if and when you need it. I can't wait to start!!
  3. Work in progress, that's so exciting that you are going to graduate soon!! Congrats on that. Did you enjoy the program? Was it really challenging? Also, I see that you are a nurse intern. What place did you intern for? I am thinking I want to get some medical experience before I graduate from UCD. Any suggestions on how to go about this?
  4. I just joined the group too! Oh, and I got my packet today also. It's a lot of information, but I can't wait to start. It's so exciting.
  5. Oh, wow. Sorry you had to put up with that. I think it was a valid question. The email was not clear. It made it seem as if we should have already received the packet. Well, at least now we can have some peace about it. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Cdids, Let us know what they say. I don't want to miss any deadlines.
  7. Did anyone who got in for summer 2010 receive the next information package in the mail yet? I got that email saying that the pin numbers got mixed up, but I did not even receive anything yet. They supposedly sent it out friday, so I would think that it would be here by now. Has anyone received it?
  8. I just got an email back saying invalid address. Here's my email: [email protected]. See if that will work.
  9. Hey, I would love to help you out. I just got accepted to CU Denver summer 2010 traditional program. I have no previous health care experience besides 6 months volunteering at National Jewish Health in pediatrics. I think it's my essay that really got me in. I've heard of 4.0 students not getting in. I think your grades are fine. Your credentials sound great, you may just need to polish your essay up a bit. Send it to me.
  10. Congrats to everyone that got in. And thanks One1, congrats to you as well. It will be nice to know some people in the program before we start. I can not wait! For those that want or wanted to know about GPA, etc... My Cum GPA: 3.83 My Pre-req: 3.9 My Essay: I put a lot of emphasis in my cultural experiences in China. I also talked about my volunteer experience at National Jewish Health. I discussed my passion for knowledge, and passion to help others. If anyone is interested..I can email it to you. Oh, and no previous bachelor's degree.
  11. Oh my!!! I got in!! I am sooooooo happy. I start in the summer. I can not believe it. I am sooo thankful!
  12. Cdids, sorry to hear that. Call list is better than no list.. you never know. I was wondering about the spring 2011 deal too. Kinda strange if we only find out about the summer. Did your letter say anything about that?
  13. Mine doesn't come until around 4ish. Still nothing yet. I really hope it does come today. What would all of you do? I am going out of town tomorrow for a week, but my husband has to work so he's staying home. If it comes while I'm gone, should I wait til I get home to open it, or have him open it and read it to me over the phone?
  14. No letter for me today either HOPEFULLY tomorrow.
