What place did you intern for? I am thinking I want to get some medical experience before I graduate from UCD. Any suggestions on how to go about this?

Did anyone who got in for summer 2010 receive the next information package in the mail yet? I got that email saying that the pin numbers got mixed up, but I did not even receive anything yet. They supposedly sent it out friday, so I would think that it would be here by now. Has anyone received it?

Hey, I would love to help you out. I just got accepted to CU Denver summer 2010 traditional program. I have no previous health care experience besides 6 months volunteering at National Jewish Health in pediatrics. I think it's my essay that really got me in. I've heard of 4.0 students not getting in. I think your grades are fine. Your credentials sound great, you may just need to polish your essay up a bit. Send it to me.

Cdids, sorry to hear that. Call list is better than no list.. you never know. I was wondering about the spring 2011 deal too. Kinda strange if we only find out about the summer. Did your letter say anything about that?

Mine doesn't come until around 4ish. Still nothing yet. I really hope it does come today. What would all of you do? I am going out of town tomorrow for a week, but my husband has to work so he's staying home. If it comes while I'm gone, should I wait til I get home to open it, or have him open it and read it to me over the phone?

No letter for me today either HOPEFULLY tomorrow.

I received a letter from the financial aid office at CU-Denver saying I need to fill out some forms for the 2009-2010 academic year. Has anyone else received this form? It says I need to fax the forms with my student ID number, which I don't believe I have one (seeing as I have not yet been accepted yet). When I received this letter and saw University of Colorado on the envelope, my heart started beating so fast. I thought it was "THE" letter. But anyway..just wondering if anyone else got it, and what I should do about it.

I just got that email today too. Except mine said nothing of early April. I'm so anxious.

Hello All, I received an email back from the college already! I was surprised at the speediness of it. The admission specialist confirmed that everything was in check with my application file, and that it is ready for committee review. Late March...hurry up and get here! Best wishes to everyone who is waiting to get in.

I don't know anyone either. All the students at Red Rocks (where I am taking my pre-reqs) that are going for nursing are planning to transfer to Regis, which I thought was weird because I heard they don't take many transfer students. I always wonder why not CU?

Limeade, thanks for the info. I never can get through to them by calling. Did you contact them by phone or email?? I emailed them last night, so I'm hoping to hear back from them soon enough. Sand_dollar, the wait is so horrible, especially since we have only applied to this school. I'm hoping that they are just running behind. I'm always checking my email too. I still have hope, and if either of us don't get in, there will be a greater opportunity waiting for us. If you stay determined, you'll get to where you want to be.

Did everyone receive the email "regarding your status" from the university? I have not yet received one, and since its passed February 2nd, it makes me a little nervous.
