I did, but it was hard! It may have helped me being that it was an accelerated class....learn test, learn test. But hey, I do know how to do the Lewis Structures! :chuckle
I downloaded loads of worksheets, etc off the internet and did the problems at the end of each chapter. So, I got plenty of practice on each thing we learned.
Just try your best, and study hard! Good luck!

I made an A in Chemistry also. But I spent huge amounts of time everyday studying. I took it during the summer, so it was fast paced, and the instructor seemed to be punishing the class for wanting to take it fast.
Work as many problems as you can, as often as you can until you get it. If your school offers a tutoring center, take advantage of it.
Good luck!

got a "c" in organic and general;
had to do "biochem"...sigh!.... my organic teacher (one school) was taught by the chairman of my graduating school's chem dept. tried to get off the hook, but didn't work. missed an "a" by mere points.
impressed my dad.......a retired chemist! i refused to ask his help. too proud, and figured if i loused up.....didn't wanna reflect on him.

Yep, I did! Woot!
I had to take "Chemistry for Healthcare Providers" which was general/organic/bio all rolled into one butt busting class.

I did but I'll tell you now, I hardly remember any of it LOL:p

AGREED!!!!! I spent hours and hours in the tutoring center during those 8 weeks I took my chem class, either asking for help, or working on the problems I printed off of the internet. It just seemed to put me into the right study mode.

I got an A in Chemistry- I had an awesome instructor! Somehow he made things seem very simple and never confused the class by showing us different methods of doing things. He showed us the most simple way. If yoiu are having trouble with the math that is involved, it just takes a lot of practice!

I got an A in my general chem, it's the requirement to my schools ASN program and is kind of considered a equivalent of high school chem.
The chem class I'm currently taking is a pre-req for the BSN program I'd like to transfer into and I'm barely getting an A in that. The class average is a low B right now, and from what I've heard will only get lower.

I did, but the prof let us do 'group work' on some of the tests. I don't remember much!
