Any CLC students to start a forum?

i did get the physical done at my doctor's office. basically i scheduled a physical w/ my doctor and the nurse went through the health requirements from clc and we decided what we could do there and what we could do at clc...some stuff at clc is free. check the nursing dept. website to see if a list is posted. i'm not sure if the colors change as we progress through the program. our shirt actually has a patch sewn on that says clc student. the shoes i had bought awhile ago but barely used inside or outside. they are white new balance walking shoes. there are some nursing shoes out there but i'm not exactly sure where a brick and morter store is located. i know you can get them online but i'm the type who'd rather try them on. there are 2 night sections for fall, i'm assuming it'll be the same for spring. there are 10 total in each class. i was saying 9 others besides yourself. all of us get along so well. it's great to get different perspectives on things.

you rock!!! thanks so much for all that info...that helps me out big time!!! did you get all of your shots/tests done at clc? and you need to get a physical as well, right? and knowing if it isn't done before we start is a relief as well, but i want to try to get it done prior to starting. thanks for the tips on scrubs as well!!! are these the colors we have to wear throughout the 4 years? not real convenient when aunt flo is visiting!! and what kind of shoes did you end up getting and from where?
and only 9 people in your class? wow!! i assumed since they had like 20 openings at night that they were all in one class, but they must have a couple of classes going on?

the blood work that you have to have drawn will show your immunity. regardless of your childhood shots or lack of...they draw the blood and test for immunity

Ok everyone...moment of truth is coming!!!

I had to call CLC because we are moving this weekend into early next week and and I wasn't sure if they would need my current address or my new one...

So, they said they are sending them this week...the letters that is!!!! OMG!!!! They said I should have it by Saturday...but Monday at the latest!!!

I am so freaked out right now!!! I didn't think I would be...I've been keeping busy and not thinking about it too much lately, but now that I know I'll have it in just a few days, I'm a little frightened!!!!

Wish me luck and I'll post when I get it!

lori and dierdra, i'm sure you guys are a shoe in. good luck...how exciting. i can't believe how the time is flown this semester. we are in week 10 already. if you're going for days i have a recommendation for an instructor - there's only two for days and one for nights.

let us all know asap when you get your letter.

i think what my biggest fear is, is that they didn't get my newest score an for some reason the score that they have is the 85%, not the 92% and i'll get a rejection letter...just paranoid...i'll be glad to be done with the waiting!

OK....I think the letter is here!!!! Gulp! I can't open it - it is sitting in my closet so no one in my family sees it. Am I a nutcase or what...don't answer that. :uhoh3: I'll let you know what it says once I open it.
