Any CLC students to start a forum?

hi all. this is my first post, but i have been reading all of yours for awhile. congrats, to those that made it in for the spring. i did as well. i am so excited, i cannot wait for january.

i did see that some of you will be going days, i will be as well.i hope to meet you all in class.

diedra, i'm sorry to hear about your daughter not making it in, but i can't blame you for not waiting. she will get in when it is right for her, but now is obviously the right time for you. is mchenry going to have their own nursing program soon? i remember them talking about that, how mchenry county is accepted as well, but that may change. didn't realize that would be so soon!

congrats ladies. I'm halfway through 1st semster and it's been a heck of a ride. Busiest I've ever been. Loving it so far.

Hey, when you dropped it off, did they give you any other info? What are you doing at the health center? Vaccines? I just want to start getting everything done now!

just talked to a friend who was going for spring start...the lowest they took for your start is a 92 on the nln. so......extra congrats. way to go. the director hasn't seen this high of scores in the past 3 yrs.

holy crap!!!! i literally made it by the skin of my teeth (i had a 92%)!!!! omg...if i would have gotten a letter saying i didn't make it, i would have been so upset! wow...i am so lucky!!! thanks for letting us know!!

by the way, i hope your friend made it in.

Thanks everyone. I was going to go and walk my confirmation in today, but of course, my daughter got sick and I couldn't even go to class.

Has anyone taken the required Healthcare provider CPR yet? I have to and I am not sure where to go to do that.

I have already made an appointment with my primary care dr for physical and immunizations. Is there anything else that I am missing?

I really feel like I am in good company for spring-we all seem very commited to becoming nurses, as shown by our highest test scores in three years. Awesome ladies!! Well sick daughter calling-gotta go

I dropped it off at registration, so other than CONGRATS they didn't say anything. I went to the health center and made an appointment for Wednesday to have whatever I need done.

I feel so honored that I got in. Highest group in 3 years - wow! :balloons:
