Hey guys I start the program in about a week and a half and we got an email with over 100 pages of reading assignments already for the first week of class, just shows how intense this program really is!! ?

Haha that's nursing school for you! Make sure you do read everything, but break it down so your only reading like 20 pages a night or so. You'll notice when you read before the lectures it makes it ALOT easier.

Is this an associates or bachelors nursing program you are attending? You can definitely get through this. Don't forget to take mini breaks when you feel tired.

Totally normal. Expect the same over your "breaks".

Only 100 pages for 1 1/2 weeks? That's actually something of a snooze...

Best of luck to you! We didn't get anything until Orientation, which was about 5 days before the program actually started. That day we were assigned about 8 chapters of reading before class on Tuesday, with additional chapters to be read before lecture on Thursday. Yes, it is going to be an intense program, but we can all make it.
Ahh yes I have orientation coming up Thursday! I start class September 2nd, best of luck to you!! We will finish and pursue our dreams!
