wow! we need a 60% to pass and the average mark was a 37%!! seriously!
Our instructor was so quiet tonight...not sure what she was thinking! But even the "best" students didnt do that well! The highest mark was a 75%!! Ouch!!
The final is in 2 weeks and I will be so glad when its over!

i know how you feel. i am struggling with pharm as well. in our program you need a 75 or higher to pass and so far my test scores have been a 80 and a 77. i was so upset because i really studied hard:no:!!! you just have to be confident and dust yourself off and keep striving to do the best you can. good luck to you and your studies!!
I passed...but my heart is breaking for those who failed and are now out of the class (you need 60% or higher on EACH exam to stay in the class). We started with 56 students and there will be 7 of us writing the final:cry:

I hope the instructor sees the need to analyze and possibly change her teaching strategies after this last showing. Those test results show as much a deficiency in her teaching as a deficiency in learning on the part of the students. Good luck to you on the final.
it had nothing to do with the teaching, this teacher is great! the fact is there is too much information to learn in such a short period of time and when students are taking 4 or more classes, they cannot devote the proper time for studying.
The college is actually looking at making pharm a 2 part class (pharm 1 and pharm 2).

Congrats on passing! Only 7 out of 56 sounds bad, but good luck with it! I think that pharm I and II could be a good thing from the sounds of it.

it may not be the teacher, per se, but it is the school.......not the students......what in heaven's name are they expecting......and why so much pharm?.....when you get out, you will be learning the drugs that pertain to your specialty area....

my ns very very strongly advises students to take all general ed classes prior to nursing school, that way you only focus on the nursing coursework.
perhaps many students in the class had other classes like english or math to ..
