ADN Fall 2011 Hopefuls!!!

I wanted to start a thread for those of you who have or will apply to ADN programs for the Fall 2011 semester. I have started the process but I have completed my application yet. I am nervous and super stressed. Join this thread so we can vent together. Share our journeys into nursing school.

My friend called and they told her to look for the letters around Spring Break or just after. :uhoh3: It's driving me crazy!!

Yes. I'm going nuts over here stalking the mail box. I figured it was around that time since last year it seems like people starting posting they were getting accepted around the 13 and 14th. So I guess a few more weeks. I just want to know so I can make the next step....:confused:

Well no letter yet here. Although I did just receive an email offering math tutor sessions in preparation for the HESI....Fingers crossed that this is a good sign!

I was wondering if anyone here will be starting the program at Fresno City College in the upcoming fall?

I am applying for the Fall 2011 ADN Program at our local college. I am taking the TEAS next Wednesday - wish me good luck, please! :)

As for classes, I only have four (non-nursing) classes to complete: A&P I, A&P II, Microbiology, and Math 120. I plan to take A&P I and Math 120 this summer. Therefore, I will only have to take the other two during the actual nursing classes.

I hope we all make it into our respective programs and we can share our frustrations and excitement along the way!!

Letters for COD have been mailed. Quit a few people accepted already!!! I am anxiously awaiting the mailman that is turning the corner as I am writing!!!!

my admissions counselor emailed me the other day and said i probably will not hear till after my final in A & P 1,which is may/june.......which i really dont understand cause it isnt a pre-req...its a co req that one would take along with nursing 1....i am just taking the sciences while i wait to get in....my plan was to have them all done before if/when i do get accepted.....if i dont get in for fall i will take the fundamentals of nursing test in the fall and apply to nursing 2 for the spring....by then i will have ALL my co reqs done and out of the way.....

but as i sit and wait i think to myself...I AINT GETTIN NO YOUNGER!!!!:nono:

My letter is in my hand and burning a hole right thru it. I promised my husband to not open it until he came home!!!!

The only good thing is it looks thick !!!!

How Exciting for those of you that have your letters already! I would never have the will power to wait until my hubby gets home. I would probably open it and then tell him when he gets home:lol2:
