Acceping letter - GPA

Published

What was your GPA when you got into nursing school or what was it when you were rejected? just looking to see what range should my GPA be at.

Specializes in ICU.

I got accepted for this fall with a 4.0 I think the lowest you could have had was a 3.8, except our school is based on a point system so if someone did extremely well on the ACT then they could have a slightly lower GPA.

3.55 - Rejected

Specializes in Adolescent Psych, PICU.

My school looks at 2 GPA's (science is #1 and overall is #2):

Accepted first try with 3.8 science and 3.5 overall

Keep your grades up!!

Specializes in Pediatric/Adolescent, Med-Surg.

3.7 accepted, however, I'm not sure how much my school looked at GPA. They were more concerned about prospective student's entrance exam scores. :)

3.97-accepted first attempt.

4.0 Accepted. I don't know what the cutoff was, but I know they accepted 80 students.

3.3 - accepted (but my science GPA was higher and I did really well on the NET)
