Nurse: Hi Doctor my patient is throwing IV poles, urine and feces at us. He is also threatening to kill us. Can we have an order for restraints?

Doctor: I don't think that would be in the patient's best interest. Restraints should be a last resort. Have you tried therapeutic communication? How about we use a sitter instead?
