  1. How doctors expect nurses to treat them
  2. The 5 scariest letters EVER after nursing school
  3. That's an NPO patient right there for you
  4. Hi Just wondering if anyone did get hired here and if they offer any sort of training for new nurses?
  5. Thanks for the replies! I finally spoke with my case manager today and got a lot more of the answers I needed. If I go to rehab I will only have to do that program and no extra requirements while in there. I do HAVE to go because I had a relapse and this is their solution. I will be doing outpatient treatment after this on top of that. I'm actually looking forward to the break! I haven't had much luck finding help on the financial side of things but I am still researching and asking for family members help
  6. I am a new member in the nurse diversion program. I have been told that I need to enter inpatient treatment. I'm not really sure where to start looking and I just wanted to hear from anyone who has previously been in this experience or know anyone who has. I have a 2 week time limit to enter a program and the costs I have found range from 10-30 thousand dollars. How have people in my situation paid for this?? My insurance doesn't cover it. Also, I signed a contract with diversion that I would attend 90 meetings in 90 days and submit to their random drug screens. Obviously if I am in an inpatient rehab program, I will be unable to have the freedom to do that. Of course I will be doing it there but I won't ALSO be able to do it the way the board of nursing is asking. I have called my case manager 4 times over the past week and can't get ahold of her and the board won't let me speak to anyone else. I just need some guidance if anyone can provide some! Thank you!
  7. I have had the same situation happen to me and I just wanted to know what the outcome of yours was. I just heard from the board about voluntarily entering a diversion program. I was curious is you pursued that route/how have you managed??
