Miranda,

My Prof told us all exactly when we could drop without a W, with a W, and about how you shoudl definately drop the course rather than get a bad grade and then retake the course. A W on your transcripts doesnt affect your GPA and is much better than a bad grade and taking the class again.

Does anyone know any good sites that explain the nervous system (not listed in this first post?) I'm going crazy!:uhoh3: AHHHHHH! Thanks.

Can anyone from San Antonio recommend a good A & P teacher for next semester? Dr. Gonzales will withdraw me from the class tomorrow first thing. Next go around I'm going to take this class on campus, any suggestion on who to take?

Thanks eveyone for your support. I wish everyone the best of luck and tons and tons of As!

Miranda

Whatever you do, don't take Dr. Garcia......I plan to take Hansen for A&P2 in the fall, the girl next to me in my micro class is taken him right now for A&P1 and loves him. Some of the other student's that are repeating A&P1 and were in my class with Garcia and dropped out are taking Robinson and love him, too. Some others are taking Davenport and like him also.

Good luck.

I got my first test back today. I got a 98%! WooHoo! This is going on the fridge!

The professor told us what we could expect for a test, multiple choice, short essay and long essay. I made up "practice" tests and did them over and over again till I had all the information memorized and could reasonably write a long essay. I'm glad all my hard work paid off! I was really nervous with this being the first test (of 4). Thankfully they aren't cumilitive! Next up is the bones and integumentary system. I'm sure I'll be here looking for help to memorize the bones!

Thanks everyone for this great site and all the help you provide! I'm so glad I found you all! I tell all my classmates to go here and get help!

Well I got my first test back yesterday.....I got a "B"!!!!!!!!

Ok, so it is not the "A" that I hoped for but the teacher said the class average was a "D".

All of the people I talk to in this class didn't do so well. I feel bad for them. This is a hard class for all of us.

To those of you getting A's...you rock! I however feel content rockin on with my B!

I do feel that if I was taking this class by itself I would have the "A" but I wanna get these pre-req's done soon so I can move on to the nurse stuff.

Congrats on your grade!

FYI...I'm taking a full load (18credits) so I can finish my pre-req's done asap, too.

Hi everyone

Ok so test on tissues, membranes, and muscle physiology is tomorrow. Hope it will go well--> studying like a lunatic tonight! Wish me luck and say a lil prayer for me b/t 9-10am tomorrow!

We just started new lab practical info today-- muscles

This week we got the list of things we have to know and began looking at plastic models

Next week is cat dissection tme ( kinda nervous about this, never had to do it before)

The week after will be review day where we can look at cats and plastic models

The week after that is practical

-He gave us more time for this section because he said it is very important to understand and he didn't want to start a new topic before spring break (the week following the practical)

Anyone else on muscles in lab? if not what are you guys doing in lab and lecture?

Hugs and good studying vibes

My exam is tomorrow on Tissue, bones, and Integumentary system. I am so stressed and confused. Can't study tomorrow b4 the exam because I have lab from 8am - 11am. 12-1 is my communication class, then the exam. :o

Greetings to all....I was dreading going to class today b/c we had a test on Tuesday and I knew I wasn't as prepared today as what I should have been. So get to class take our quiz, and he starts handing back grades. I'm #16 in the list...so everyone goes up...my friend who is #5 he said don't even bother to get up you got a 98. The other girl on my right who's #11 didn't get up and she got a 109. (Possible is a 112, we had extra credit)...And then my name..."don't get up, you got over 100" :roll WHAT?!??? I think you have the wrong person, I swear I didn't know the first 20 questions. But I guess I did...which in the long run really makes me wonder...here I know I don't know what I'm talking about, and then in reality I do??? confusing thoughts....but Anyways I got a 104, so I'm not complaining about it... Next lab is our 1st lab test next Thursday. This was our 2nd exam....and then we have all of our little quizzes everyday which will be used to replace the lowest grade of test 1 or 2, which i have 2 high A's so my quizzes are almost pointless so to speak...but oh well, I will continue to study hard....and the other highlight of my day was I got my 1st English paper back...got an A as well... YIPPEE beings I'm horrible in English
