A&P 1 Summer 2012 Check In

I'll be registering for my Summer classes tomorrow. And yes I will be taking A&P 1 and it's lab. I've heard so many horror stories about A&P! But I'm trying to stay positive. I've been a CNA for almost 7 years so maybe I'll be able to apply some of what I've learned to A&P. Anyone else out there A&P 1 or 2 this Summer? Let's get this support group started!

I'm checking in for A&P 1. I'm doing mine in 5 weeks along with 3 other classes over the summer. YIKES!!

You can do it though. Stay focused!I'm taking A&P 1, its lab, and Chemistry.

I'll have A&P 2 and Med Term this summer plus an online Chemistry class. I'm enjoying my 3 weeks off before the summer chaos begins!

Luckily, the other classes aren't too bad. Sociology, child psyc, and ethics.

I will be taking Psych 1&2 with my A&P1. Which is good because I may need some Psych after this summer.:bugeyes: Oh, I also plan on cleping English Comp 1&2 before the summer is over.

Im taking A&P 1 during summer 1 and A&P 2 for summer 2 session. I know its going to be rough, but i have no choice since my nursing program starts in the fall. Ive been trying to prepare myself for it over the past few weeks while I have free time. I know someone else on here mentioned Anatomy and Physiology for Dummies book, and I wanted to add that it is such a good book! I'm reading it now, and have learned so much already. I bought it from amazon.com fairly inexpensive. I would highly recommend it for anyone taking A&P or preparing to take it.

I have that book, too. It's great! I took A&P 25 years ago, so I needed a good refresher before school begins in June. It's very helpful...especially explaining the Krebs cycle, which you know we'll be quizzed on the first few weeks of class!

I registered for A&P1 and Intro to Statistics over the summer. I am very nervous! I have heard nothing but horror stories as well. I have to get a C+ or better in both classes, but I am going to strive for an A in both. Classes for me are from Jul 9-Aug 9th(5 weeks long). All that info crammed into a little over 1 month! A&P Class is M/T/W/R from 12-4pm. It's gonna be tough but if there are other people who can do it so can I and so can you!!!!

You'll be fine. I am going to use flash cards like many people on here have suggested because it has helped me A LOT in the past with previous courses.

I would if I had the choice. Unfortunately, my school really doesn't post who's teaching the labs until the last minute, and most of the time, it's a grad student.

Thank u I think that is what I will do, her lab is just so early and I am not a morning person , ahhh such is life :eek:
