  1. Yeah, they choose your schedule for you and you may not know your schedule until two weeks before classes start. The first few weeks are overwhelming. This is mainly because you're trying to find your routine and the amount of reading required is astronomical. BUT it is manageable! I have AM classes and love having AM.
  2. You will not register yourself. The nursing department registers all of your nursing classes - and trust me, they take their time. For the first semester you guys will take Nursing Skills I & II, Health Assessment, and Intro to Nursing.
  3. Hi guys! Congratulations to all of you who have been accepted! I'm about to finish my first semester of the nursing program at Cy Fair and it seems like only yesterday, I was on these boards with the same questions and fears all of you have. If I can be of any assistance, or if you have questions and I have the answer, just ask! Good luck to all of you! And just a small FYI - fall in LOVE with your text books! They will be all you see in your first semester.
  4. Hey! How is going over at Kingwood??
  5. Hey guys! I have been on these boards for years and finally started my nursing program this spring. Let me just say this - when people say that getting in is the easy part, they are telling the TRUTH! My program is super intense and when entering, you need to know your A&P FULLY (this is no joke)! They do NOT reteach this. With all that being said, I wish all of you the best of luck in getting into your preferred program. I know EXACTLY how you all feel right now. It's so hard applying and waiting to see if you will get in, but it is so worth the wait. Good luck, future nurses!! P.S. I need all of the prayers I can get right now to help me through this program
  6. In wish we could get our books!!
  7. OMG!! I'm so excited! It will take a little while to sink in, I think.
  8. I can't find the page. Nothing comes up when I search the name.
  9. I'll figure out how to do one for cyfair.
  10. Stay positive, Twinkle! You'll get in. So many give their spots up.
  11. Twinkletoes, what was your score again?
  12. Yes! Make one. I just don't know how.
  13. Yes! Someone do a Facebook page!!
  14. I can't believe I got in!!!!
  15. I got in!!!!!
