well, it's about time to start this thread, i think!! let's get our bearings and see who all is in the same boat in january!

i finish up the first half of a&p with a comprehensive exam on december 13th and then it's right into the physiology portion of the course. we actually are starting special senses this week and next but will only get the first chapter done.

so .... who else is in? when did you take a&p i and how is your course set up? do you have the prof you want and are you looking forward to it?

i will include the sites from the a&p i thread that might be helpful! i will add/subtract as i get a chance to look through them a bit more or if anyone else suggests some good sites.

Happy dance happy dance happy day!! I finished my A&P Christmas midterm last night! It wasn't pretty but it IS over with! We start back on January 4th. Anyway, finally some time to just sit and -- ok, not really -- get with the Christmas/birthday plans/details in our house. I will be back to read through this thread a.s.a.p.

Right now I'm just heading out to have lunch with my lab partners! Celebrate good times!!!

Very nervous about A&P II as I let life get in the way and fell really behind in A&P I, and barely made it through.

Plus I'm taking A&P II aong with the 1st semester nursing classes and I'll have 17 credit hours total - ACK!

I'm assuming that A&P II just builds on what was learned (or was supposed to have been learned) in A&P I? I probably should spend my entire break studying up the A&P I material, huh?

I have no idea what kind of teacher I have, only know the last name.

I'm praying its someone good, someone who actually teaches, not just reads off the power points.

Finished my lecture final last night and the lab final last week. I'm positive I'm going to end up with "A's" in both classes, so I'm happy. I swear I could literally feel the stress melting off of me this morning! It's like my body switched from sympathetic to parasympathetic overnight! LOL It was like...."Oh! So this is what "normal functioning" feels like." I can't believe I actually have no studying to do for the next 3 weeks. I just won't know what to do with myself! Oh, I know....I'll watch my Elvis and Michael Buble DVD's and spend the time drooling! ***SIGH*** :loveya:

I am taking A & P II in a compressed two week class, Beginning Jan. 3rd. I will be going Mon-Sat 7:30 to 4:30. Lecture and lab are together. My teacher said it is very intense but I have to take Micro and chem II beginning Jan. 17th. I did not want to take all three at the same time. I got an A in A & P I, so I think I will do O.K.

Hi everybody. I will taking A&P II starting January 17th. I understand this is not as bad as A&P I. The nervous system was horrible! I plan to spend the next month becoming better aquainted in prep for the Spring semester.

Count me in too!! Just finished A&PI with an A so, I'll be taking A&PII and Micro starting Jan. 12th. I've signed up for Inorg. Chem but I think I may drop it. It's on Saturday and I'd be going to class Mon-Thurs and Sat while working a 4/10 commuter schedule, don't want to kill myself!! Anyways, GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US!!
