well, it's about time to start this thread, i think!! let's get our bearings and see who all is in the same boat in january!
i finish up the first half of a&p with a comprehensive exam on december 13th and then it's right into the physiology portion of the course. we actually are starting special senses this week and next but will only get the first chapter done.
so .... who else is in? when did you take a&p i and how is your course set up? do you have the prof you want and are you looking forward to it?
i will include the sites from the a&p i thread that might be helpful! i will add/subtract as i get a chance to look through them a bit more or if anyone else suggests some good sites.

Count me in! We finish up A&P 1 next week and start A&P II around Jan 9. I will have the same teacher, which is awesome because she's excellent. The 4 gals in my study group will also be in the same class with me. What's really neat is that this prof teaches only 1 A&PII night class, so Lab and Lecture will be all on Thursday night, and this coming term she's going to institute a "Run and Review" before class. (She's a marathon runner) So each Thursday, for 1 hour before class, she's going to meet us at the inside track and review class topics as we fast-walk together. (We begged off running!) How cool is that? GOod for our bodies *and* our brains!
Hello All,
I am also finishing up special senses in A & P I. I start A&P II January 9th! I currently have a B in A & P (can't get an A to save my life!) but I love this stuff! I am currently an accountant (I suck at it unfortunately). I believe that nursing is my calling. After taking A & P I, I think I'm ready for A & P II. It's hard to study, go to school and raise 4 teens 12-17. I do realize that I have to be more focused for next class. I have A & P I on Saturday from 9-2 at CCAC. I thank Jesus that I don't have the instructor that is teaching the class this semester! I hope I have the same instructor for A&PII that I have for A&P I. He is an excellent instructor and he makes the class so interesting.
Good Luck to all next semester and I will be checking this thread for updates!

Am I the only one that is taking all of my classes including A&PI (this sem- along w/ world mythology, psychology, and communications) and A&PII (spring 06-w/ sociology, spanish, literature, and med termin) online?
:uhoh21:
>>>>>>I feel so alone in the world!!!
This is the way my A&PI works: I have an A&P book, we take a test-with trick questions- about every 3 weeks (open book of course), we had a 2" lab book with 10 case studies and 5 reports (plus labs we had to do on our own for each unit) to turn in last week, and we'll have a final next week in the testing center.... no open book for that one. It is like pulling teeth to get a reply from an instructor so there is very little contact. I've waded through 16 chapters of this book alone. It has been murder. I am wishing for a lecture at this point. It is really hard to retain the info just by going over it by yourself. And I have the same instructor for my A&PII class next semester.
Yet I continue to take all my classes online. Am I a glutton for punishment or what.....
I actually have to-I have 3 kids and 2 step kids so I have to stay home and take care of them.
I was just wondering if anybody else is walking this lonely path with me?
